Sensor technology automatically detects any obstacles and ensures that AUTOGROOM simply halts. An impact sensor is situated on top so any collision would result in the device immediately stopping to prevent damage.

Built in security ensures that the AUTOGROOM will not operate out of range of its base station. The 140kg weight also ensures that it cannot be easily lifted and taken away without major effort. But given that most facilities are enclosed by a high perimeter fencing as a matter of course, the possibility of theft is minimal.
